1. When you enter and participate in the Soccernerd.com Quiz (the "Game"), you are bound to play and accept that you must participate in the Game in accordance with these terms and conditions (the "Terms and Conditions"), the Rules of the Game (the "Rules") any other materials relating to the Game published on Soccernerd.com.
2. Every application to participate in the Game must be made by a natural person (the "Participant" or the "Participants") on the official electronic application form. Applications must adhere to the required format. Entry and participation is free.
3. Each entrant must ensure that his or her participation in the game is lawful in accordance with the laws of Denmark and of the country of which he or she is a citizen and/or resides, and/or happens to be at the time the entry is made. Soccernerd.com shall not be taken to make any representations, express or implied, as to the lawfulness of any entrant's participation, or as to any other aspect of the Game.
4. Soccernerd.com is subject to Danish data protection laws when collecting and processing personal data. Please note that if you consent/have consented to receive marketing information in the appropriate tick box, this shall be deemed to constitute consent. In addition, please remember that when participating in the Game, you are also subject to the Terms and Conditions of use of the Website.
5. By submitting your application, you hereby warrant that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete and you acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
6. Only one application will be accepted per person.
7. Participants under 18 years of age and/or not of full legal age (a "Minor") must seek parental permission before applying and participating in the Game and adhering to the Terms and Conditions.
8. The computer record of the application will be considered as being the formal application. Any application not adhering to the above format, incorrect applications or incomplete applications will be deemed invalid. Soccernerd.com is not responsible for application information, or results lost or delayed in the course of transmission.
9. Soccernerd.com reserves the right to refuse to accept application names that are considered by Soccernerd.com in its sole discretion to be inappropriate or offensive. Unsuitable names will be deleted and the application will appear under a default name chosen by Soccernerd.com. Please bear this in mind when you choose the name for your application.
10. Acceptance of an application to the Game is at the sole discretion of Soccernerd.com. All accepted and registered Participants will be notified by Soccernerd.com via e-mail. Electronic acceptance messages that are either "undeliverable" or that remain undelivered will nullify the application and will result in the participation in the Game not being accepted. Soccernerd.com shall not be liable for electronic acceptance messages which are either not received or wrongfully sent or are "undeliverable" or remain for any reason undelivered.
11. Application constitutes permission for Soccernerd.com and any third party authorised by Soccernerd.com to use the names of Participants at its sole discretion for publicity purposes. In particular (but not limited), Soccernerd.com intends to publish the users screen name on the Game's home page. By participating in the Game, each Participant explicitly agrees to publication of his/her name, if this is required by Soccernerd.com.
12. Any and all rights in relation to the Soccernerd.com Quiz are the sole and exclusive property of Soccernerd.com. No information or data may be reproduced in any format or used in any way without the prior written consent of Soccernerd.com. Soccernerd.com shall be entitled to withhold consent at its sole discretion.
13. The Game is not open to employees of Soccernerd.com, their relatives, agents or agents' relatives or any employees of companies involved in the development or support of the Game website.
14. Informative and explanatory material relating to the Game (including instructions for this competition and the scoring system) and the Rules form part of these Terms and Conditions.
15. Soccernerd.com reserves the right to introduce new facilities to enhance the Game. Details of such introductions will be published on the Game website and will amend or vary these Terms and Conditions and take effect from the date upon which such details are published on the Website.
16. Soccernerd.com may, at its sole discretion, suspend a Participant, disqualify any application or vary, amend or waive the Rules and/or the Terms and Conditions at any time or cancel the Game at any time in the event of circumstances arising beyond Soccernerd.com's control or which make it desirable to do so. The Participants agree that no liability shall attach to Soccernerd.com as a result thereof and that the exercise of such discretion shall not result in any compensation being payable or paid to any Participant or other person.
17. Soccernerd.com cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any Participant entering the Game. Soccernerd.com is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software failure of any e-mail or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, telephone lines or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to a Participant's or any other person's computer or mobile telephone related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in relation to the Game. By participating in the Game, you agree that no claim relating to any such (or any other) loss, damage or injury (including without limitation special, indirect or consequential losses) shall be asserted against Soccernerd.com, its parent companies, sponsors, affiliates, directors, officers, employees or agents.
18. By participating in the Game, you agree that no claim shall be asserted against Soccernerd.com, its parent companies, sponsors or affiliates or any of their respective directors, officers, employees or agents in respect of any and all losses or injuries (including without limitation special, indirect or consequential losses), damages, rights, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever that result from your participation in the Game or from any other aspect related to the Game and/or the Terms and Conditions. Each Participant represents and warrants not to take any legal action and/or to initiate any other proceeding in relation to the Games and/or the Terms and Conditions.
